Welcome to Southern Brooks Archaeology

Our interest is to explore the archaeology of the Southern Brooks area of South Gloucestershire.

This area includes Filton, Patchway Stoke Gifford, Harry Stoke, Little Stoke, and Bradley Stoke.

The Archaeology in the Park event in July attracted lots of visitors and was very successful. Our thanks to all the groups and exhibitors that attended. helped.

The next meetings of SB Archaeology will be at the Aztec Hotel, 7.30 p.m. All welcome.

The link on the left to the History of Stoke Gifford will give you an extensive collection of histories created by local historians comprising many historical documents and details of the excavations that have taken place in the area. The history is available on a DVD, for the nominal sum of £1 collected or £2 by post in the UK. Contact our secretary for details.
